A number of families lost everything in their homes when floodwater or oozing mud entered their homes, after the mudslides. In many homes, mud or floodwater came to a depth of four or five feet

A number of children lost all their clothes, their school uniforms and their school supplies. Neighbours have given second hand clothes, blankets and so on to help them. The President's wife flew in this morning, (Tuesday, June 1) and promised swift Government help in reconstruction of the damaged homes.

We want to be sure that when schools re-start next week, students don't drop out because of Agatha
